American Gasser takes home 3 awards at I-X Piston Powered Auto Rama in Cleveland
March 19, 2014
American Gasser is no stranger to the I-X Piston Powered Auto Rama Show. AG was born and raised just 30 minutes south west of the shows’ Middleburg Heights location.
This year AG was proud to have four cars in attendance representing the shop. Among the cars were Terry Taylor’s ’33 Willys Gasser and Greg Lamp’s ’41 Willys Gasser. After taking first in class at the Detroit Autorama Show, Tom Benedetto’s ’41 Willys Gasser was a late addition to the group. After sending over pictures of the car we were invited to present the car on the shows Thunder Row which houses the shows best cars. Also in attendance and on Thunder Row was American Gasser’s good friend and colleague Marty Stead.
American Gasser was proudly represented at the shows award ceremony where Marty Stead took top honor in the I-X Piston Powered Auto Rama Driven Series Gasser Class. Terry Taylor’s ’33 took second and Greg Lamp’s ’41 took third. Tom Bendetto’s ’41 Willys took home another first place trophy in the shows ISCA/Summit Racing Equipment Show Car Series Gasser Class.
As always American Gasser would like to thank all those involved in the show set up and to our three faces at the show Andy Siradakis, TJ Coleman, and John Shelton. Thanks for making us look so good!
