Another project headed home. This cool 38 Chevy hotrod has been around for a quite some time and the owners felt that it was time for an update.
Out came the old small block and in its place we installed a new @gm_performance_ LS3 crate engine making about 500 horsepower, backed by a new transmission and new 9in rear end. With all that go we needed some whoa, so @wilwooddiscbrakes brakes were installed on all four corners. And of course a @becoolinc radiator keeps everything cool.
We installed some @autometerproducts gauges to monitor vitals and updated the entire electrical system with a kit from @american.autowire. We also fabricated a new fuel cell to go along with the new EFI powerplant.
Visually the car remains mostly the same, but we did make a few changes, including a hand made engine turned stainless firewall plate and matching dash bezel. We also freshened up the engine bay and under side of the car.
To bring some rumble to the party we fabricated a new polished stainless exhaust system. The mufflers are @borlaperformance ProXS units and we also used parts from @stainless_works and @vibrant_performance.
