This awesome truck got Twisted Metalworkz 4-link installed, Quick Performance 9in, and some QA1 coil overs. We also welded all the unused holes in the frame and the suspension pieces were powder coated and the frame was painted. Finishing off the frame modifications was a fuel cell located at the rear of the frame.
More modifications were made to the bed of the truck as well. Stake pocket holes and other unused holes were filled, as well as the fuel filler door in the side of the bed. But the most extensive mod is the wheel tubs, which were widened 4.5 inches to make room for the larger tires and suspension movement. And an Eddie Motorsports fuel filler was added to the bed floor, with the floor ribs being modified so that it sits flush and lower then the height of the ribs.
We got the bed finished inside and out with paint and some bed liner and it looks great! Almost can’t tell all the metal work that went into it. Lots of hard work on assembly and other upgrades, such as the Tremec Transmissions TKX 5spd courtesy of American Powertrain, who provided an awesome kit that came with everything we needed for the swap! Inside features some new door panels from TMI Products to match the new seats.
Underneath features another big change in the form of a new stainless exhaust system! Although we built a system for this truck when we first did the LS swap years ago, much of it would have had to been modified to work with the new upgrades. A wild new system was fabbed up for the truck, this time with Borla Performance mufflers and Quick Time Performance electric cutouts. And to top it off some custom made, through-bed side exhaust tips.
