WHO WE ARE
American Gasser is an award-winning, full service hot rod shop that excels in design, fabrication, restoration, paint and performance upgrades!
Founded in 2008 in Ohio, American Gasser started small in just a garage. We soon grew into a full-fledged Hot Rod Shop that has since relocated to Saginaw, Michigan.
We build proprietary 1940 and 1941 Willys rolling chassis, as well as a full service Hot Rod Shop. We have created and incorporated period-correct details to become the gasser you enjoyed back in the day.
Our Process
Consultation
Understanding the client's goals for the project is imperative before the project can officially start.
The Frame
The frame is made using our hand-crafted front main rails, becoming the foundation for the drive train mounts and suspension.
The Body
The body is 4-layer hand laid fiberglass reinforced throughout with steel.
The Doors
The gassers are equipped with external type door hinges and radiused rear fenders.
Front / Back
A single piece front end or 4-piece stock front end is available. 1940 and 1941 grille openings are available.
